Teddy's Special Heart

When we were told half way through our pregnancy that our baby boy was considered a "non viable foetus with an incurable heart" our own hearts were broken.

We sought opinion from The Heart Centre for Children, and although the diagnosis of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome was confirmed, we were given a gift: HOPE.

Teddy's doctors explained that although his intensive, lifelong treatment would be palliative because a cure didn't exist, there was still hope that Teddy could survive and that was hope enough.

Last Christmas thanks to the generosity of our beautiful friends and family we managed to raise $10,000 for our heroes - The Heart Centre for Children.

We hope that you will find it in your hearts to join us in giving something to help The Heart Centre find a cure for Teddy's special heart.

Every day with Ted is a blessing but our constant prayer is for a cure so that he can grow up and enjoy a normal healthy life. There is no greater gift.
