The Heart Centre for Children, SCHN also incorporates our world-leading Kids Heart Research team, who aim to inspire, lead and facilitate high-quality research to improve health outcomes for children, and their families, with childhood heart disease. All of the Heart Centre for Children staff are dedicated to improving their ability to diagnose, treat, and cure children with congenital heart disease, now and into the future.  

The impact our donors make for our clinical team is felt within the corridors, in the consultation rooms, operating theatres and by the bedsides through new equipment and resources, and access to further training for our clinical staff to improve the patient experience.

Support from donors enables our research teams to make new discoveries into childhood heart disease to develop better care models and treatments that we can translate directly back into clinical practice within the Heart Centre for Children, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, and into the wider community.
